We had to do a multimedia assignment for class and I did my assignment on my hairdresser. I love this picture because her hands are her art! They create the amazing hairstyles so I made sure I got her hands in sharp focus and her face is still in the picture but it is out of focus. I love how you can still see the enjoyment and concentration on her face.
We had to do an assignment for class where we shot a glass and we had to do one on a white background and one on a black background. This is by far my favor shot. I had a lot of fun shooting this assignment.
I always love going to the zoo and one of my favorite animals to see at the zoo are the elephants. This was a hot day and I thought this was the perfect shot of the elephant taking a little dip in the water.
These are my wonderful parents. We had to do a framing assignment for class so my idea was to make a heart frame out of someones hands and have a couple in the background. I wanted to focus on the couple through the hands so you can see the heart but its blurry and you can see the couple clearly. This is what I came up with and I loved the end result.
A couple of weeks ago I attended an event in Greensboro called Summer Solstice. It is a big festival where you get to meet exciting new people and everyone dresses up and just enjoys a day in the sun. I was very fortunate to meet this woman and take her picture. I just loved her outfit and her purple hair was amazing!
I took a few picture of this little boy sitting right beside me at one of the Grasshoppers games. He loves the camera and he was so excited to be there at the game. He was eating cotton candy which is one of my favorite things to get at baseball games. He was absolutely adorable.
So I had the opportunity to visit Asheville over the weekend and I noticed this Double Decker bus that they had turned into a coffee shop. I took a few pictures of it and I was doing some HDR work on the computer and this is what I came up with. This is my first HDR image and I really love how it turned out.
