In my Bio-communications class in school we have been doing a lot of lumens. here are a few of the lumens I have done.

Camera fun!

So I was outside playing with my camera and realized I could do funky drawing pictures in my camera. Can't believe I didn't find this sooner but I am so glad I found it. This is a sketch from a picture of my house!

Composite!!!

We had to do a composite for class where we put 5 different things from 5 different pictures into one picture. I love my final picture. Hope you guys like it!!!

I Love Flowers!

I was playing with a macro lens at home and took a picture of the flowers my dad bought for my mom!

Oh Hello Orb Weaver!!!

Found this huge Orb Weaver outside of church. It was wrapping up its food for later. Haven't seen a spider this big in a long time!

Bikefest!!!

I attended the 8th Annual Bikefest in Raleigh, NC. There were so many beautiful bikes there. Here are a few shots I got.

Tattoo Convention!!!

Went to the 18th Annual Tattoo Convention in Greensboro and I got a lot of great pictures. This guy was drawing a tattoo for someone. Love the fact that you can see all of his art work on his hands and he is doing art work for someone else.

Lotus Flower!

Took this picture of a Lotus while I was in Raleigh with my boyfriend. It was such a beautiful flower!

Oh How I Love Children!

I met a lady at a birthday party that had two gorgeous little boys and she let me photograph them. This is the youngest little boy. He was enjoy some pizza.

Beautiful Sunset!

Spent a few hours at a football game and noticed how beautiful the sky was! I was so glad I was able to capture it!

Froggy!!

I just happened to be at school walking around our little waterfall we have and I found this little guy just sitting there. I love frogs and I really love this statue! Welcome to RCC everyone!

Beauty In It's Own Form

I had the chance to visit my boyfriends family in South Carolina and they had a bunch of skulls around the house and I just thought they were beautiful so I had to photograph them.

Hummingbird!!!

I had never seen a hummingbird nest until now and I was able to take a picture of it with a hummingbird that was found dead. Even dead this hummingbird is beautiful! I enjoyed photographing it and I hope you all like it too!

Off Camera Flash!!

We had to do a multimedia assignment for class and I did my assignment on my hairdresser. I love this picture because her hands are her art! They create the amazing hairstyles so I made sure I got her hands in sharp focus and her face is still in the picture but it is out of focus. I love how you can still see the enjoyment and concentration on her face.

Glass!!!

We had to do an assignment for class where we shot a glass and we had to do one on a white background and one on a black background. This is by far my favor shot. I had a lot of fun shooting this assignment.

A Day At The Zoo!!

I always love going to the zoo and one of my favorite animals to see at the zoo are the elephants. This was a hot day and I thought this was the perfect shot of the elephant taking a little dip in the water.

The Love of Family

These are my wonderful parents. We had to do a framing assignment for class so my idea was to make a heart frame out of someones hands and have a couple in the background. I wanted to focus on the couple through the hands so you can see the heart but its blurry and you can see the couple clearly. This is what I came up with and I loved the end result.

Summer Solstice

A couple of weeks ago I attended an event in Greensboro called Summer Solstice. It is a big festival where you get to meet exciting new people and everyone dresses up and just enjoys a day in the sun. I was very fortunate to meet this woman and take her picture. I just loved her outfit and her purple hair was amazing!

Americana

I took a few picture of this little boy sitting right beside me at one of the Grasshoppers games. He loves the camera and he was so excited to be there at the game. He was eating cotton candy which is one of my favorite things to get at baseball games. He was absolutely adorable.

The Double Decker Coffee Shop!!

So I had the opportunity to visit Asheville over the weekend and I noticed this Double Decker bus that they had turned into a coffee shop. I took a few pictures of it and I was doing some HDR work on the computer and this is what I came up with. This is my first HDR image and I really love how it turned out.

Bokeh Assignment

We had an assignment in class called Bokeh and I took this picture a long time ago but I realized that this picture actually fit the assignment. I always love getting up close to things in pictures and I just happened to look at this picture and realize it fit the assignment. I love how this picture turned out.

Up Close And Personal

It took me forever to finally get this little guy sitting still. He put up a fight but eventually he settled down on a flower and I got the perfect shot. I love this picture.

Painting With Lights

We had to do an assignment for class where we painted something with lights. In the picture I was painting myself with sparklers while I was walking down the street. I love how the picture turned out. It was a lot of fun.

My Heart

My cat Hamon is a wonderful model. Everyone says he is a gorgeous cat and he does a great job of posing for the camera. I love him to death, he is truly my heart.

Traveling The Roads.....Railroads That Is

I was out with the lovely Emily shooting an assignment for class. We had to go take a picture showing the shapes of roads but we had to have a person in the picture. I ended up not using the pictures for that assignment but I loved all the pictures I took so I decided to share one here on my blog! Enjoy!!!
